This latest painting in the Nature's Cathedral series shows a very tall moss covered Douglas Fir tree as a central pillar of the composition. In the foreground and throughout are tiny red huckleberries we were snacking on during our hike. I love this color balance. The middle tone blue is a very special iridescent paint I got from the oldest paint store in Paris, where the impressionist no doubt shopped at in the 1800s.
